What do the ticks next to my messages mean?
Next to your sent messages, you'll see ticks that show what has happened to your message.
- 1 grey tick : your message has been delivered, but not yet read.
- 2 ticks : the recipient has opened the conversation and read your message.
Messages are always delivered, so the difference lies in whether or not they've been read.
Can I see if my message has been read as a free member?
Read receipts are a Premium feature . If you have Premium Basic or Plus, you'll see the ticks as normal and can therefore see if a message has been read.
If you don't have Premium, you'll see faded ticks with the text Premium feature . In that case, you won't be able to see if your message has been read.
What's the difference between the ticks and the coloured dots on a profile?
The coloured dots on a profile have nothing to do with read receipts. These dots only show whether someone is currently online. The ticks next to your messages show whether a message has been delivered or read.
