By signing up via the website 50dating.com or related domains, you agree to these general terms and conditions. By registering, you are enrolled on the shared platform operated by Epic Internet B.V. under the brands 50dating.com and 60dating.com. The visibility of your profile is determined by the age category associated with the brand you registered on.

Article 1 – Definitions

50dating.com: trade name under which Epic Internet B.V. (CoC 64190102) provides its service.
Website: the online dating service of 50dating.com, accessible via https://50dating.com and related domains.
User(s): any natural person aged 18 or older who enters into an agreement with 50dating.com.
Agreement: the agreement between 50dating.com and the User regarding the use of the service.
Service: all services offered by or on behalf of 50dating.com, including dating functionality and additional AI services.
User Profile: a profile created by a User containing personal information, text, and/or photos.
Offensive Content: photos, texts, or behaviors that 50dating.com deems inappropriate within the service, including but not limited to: pornography, sexually explicit expressions, racist, discriminatory, or offensive expressions, and unlawful or criminal content.
Premium Basic: a paid subscription at €29.95 per month with extended features.
Premium Plus: a paid subscription at €39.95 per month, including all Premium Basic features plus Unlock Credits.
Unlock Credits: virtual credits that allow Premium Plus members to “unlock” a conversation with a free user. Once used, one Unlock Credit gives both conversation partners unlimited messaging within that conversation until the following Monday at 00:00. Premium Plus members automatically receive 1 new credit every Monday; unused credits expire on that Monday. Additional Unlock Credits can be purchased separately and follow the same weekly expiry rule.
Anna the DatingCoach: the AI-powered dating coach that assists Users with advice and suggestions.

Article 2 – Registration and Formation of Agreement

• The services of 50dating.com are accessible only to persons aged 18 or older. Registration on 60dating.com additionally requires a minimum age of 60; for 50dating.com a minimum age of 50 applies.
• Registration is entirely at the User's own expense and risk.
• For registration, the User must provide accurate and complete information. Email verification is mandatory.
• A profile must be at least 70% complete for full access to the service.
• The agreement is formed at the moment 50dating.com confirms the registration.
• 50dating.com is entitled to change rates, provided these are announced at least 30 days in advance by email. In case of price increases, the User has the right to terminate the agreement immediately and free of charge.

Article 3 – User Profile

• 50dating.com reserves the right to review profiles and remove or modify offensive or misleading content.
• The User is at all times responsible for the accuracy and legality of their profile.
• 50dating.com cannot fully verify the identity of users and is not liable for the accuracy of provided information.
• In case of violation, 50dating.com may delete the profile and terminate the agreement without refunding subscription fees.

Article 4 – Use of the Service

Membership is strictly personal and non-transferable. Users may only use the service for personal and relational purposes. Use for commercial, unlawful, or criminal purposes is prohibited.

Free users have limited access:

• Profile creation and browsing
• Unlimited conversation starts
• Limited messages per conversation: 2 messages (profile <70% complete), 4 messages (profile ≥70%) or 6 messages (profile ≥80% + lifestyle). These limits are designed to prevent abuse and keep the platform affordable for all members. Linking message allowances to profile completeness also serves as a quality measure: a more complete profile leads to better matches and a safer environment, as other members can better assess mutual compatibility
• Limited access to Anna the DatingCoach

Premium Basic (€29.95/month):

• Unlimited messaging with Premium members
• Advanced search filters
• See who likes you
• Full access to Anna the DatingCoach

Premium Plus (€39.95/month):

• All Premium Basic features
• 1 Unlock Credit per week — opens one conversation with a free user until the following Monday, unlimited for both parties
• Ability to continue conversations with free users
• Premium Plus badge
• Faster customer service

Anna the DatingCoach:

• Provides suggestions for messages, profile optimization, and compatibility advice
• Is an AI service and delivers advice "as is"
• 50dating.com does not guarantee results; User remains responsible
• AI is used exclusively for coaching, profile suggestions and compatibility advice. AI never communicates on behalf of or as a member and does not generate fake profiles or automated messages to other users

Add-ons (available for purchase by all members):

• Incognito mode — browse profiles without the other person seeing that you visited. Incognito can be toggled on or off at any time.
• Boost — temporarily appear higher in search results so more people see your profile. A Boost is a one-time purchase and is active for a limited period.
• Extra Unlock Credits — additional credits to continue conversations with free users. Unlock Credits are valid until the first Monday 00:00 after issuance and are non-transferable.

Article 5 – User Obligations

• Users may not share other users' data without permission.
• Users must refrain from offensive behavior, regardless of the communication channel.
• Users must provide only truthful information.
• Users are responsible for caution when sharing personal data or making arrangements.
• Abuse of AI functionalities or automated use (spam, bots) is prohibited.
• 50dating.com is a platform for serious relationships and meaningful connections. Using the service to seek casual sexual contacts is not permitted. Profiles that are solely aimed at sexual contact will be blocked.
• Users indemnify 50dating.com against claims from third parties for violation of rights or legislation. (This means: if someone files a claim against us because of something you did, you are responsible for it.)

Article 6 – Duration, Termination, and Renewal

• Free membership is entered into for an indefinite period and can be terminated at any time free of charge.
• Paid subscriptions are entered into for a definite period and are continued for an indefinite period after the initial term and renewed on a monthly basis via direct debit. After the initial period, the subscription can be cancelled at any time with a maximum notice period of one month.
• Termination can be done via the website ("My Account") or in writing. You can cancel with a single button in “My Account”, without having to provide a reason. You will receive a confirmation email immediately.
• After termination, access to the service remains until the end of the paid period.

Article 7 – Payment

• Subscription fees are due in advance.
• Payment is made via Mollie (iDEAL, credit card, PayPal) or direct debit.
• In the event of late payment, the User is in default by operation of law and owes statutory interest and collection costs. (This means: if you do not pay on time, you are automatically late and additional costs may apply.)

Article 8 – Withdrawal

• Users can withdraw from a paid membership within 14 days of registration.
• If the service has already been used (in part), 50dating.com will charge a proportional amount in accordance with art. 6:230s paragraph 4 of the Dutch Civil Code. (This is a legal provision that means you pay a reasonable amount for the part of the service you have already used.)
• Users explicitly consent to immediately use the service upon registration.

Article 9 – Privacy and Security

• 50dating.com processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the privacy policy at https://50dating.com/uk/privacy.
• Personal data is only shared with sub-processors engaged by 50dating.com (such as payment providers, hosting parties and AI providers) when necessary for the performance of the agreement. The current list of sub-processors and processing purposes can be found in our privacy policy.
• Despite security measures, 50dating.com cannot guarantee absolute security.
• IP addresses are recorded for security and fraud prevention.
• 50dating.com never sells personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Article 10 – Service Changes

• 50dating.com may change or expand its services and features.
• In case of significant changes, the User may terminate the agreement.

Article 11 – Liability

Liability of 50dating.com is limited to a maximum of €1,000 per incident.

50dating.com is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damage
• Failed relationships or appointments
• Use or following of AI advice
• Disruptions beyond the control of 50dating.com

This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Article 12 – Force Majeure

In case of force majeure (including disruptions, network issues, DDOS attacks, fire, natural disasters, strikes), 50dating.com is not obliged to fulfill its obligations.

Article 13 – Suspension and Termination

• 50dating.com may block a User or terminate the agreement in case of violation of the terms.
• In case of serious violations (such as fraud, sex offenses, human trafficking), 50dating.com may terminate the agreement immediately and report to authorities.

Article 14 – Applicable Law and Disputes

• This agreement is exclusively governed by Dutch law.
• Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Utrecht.
• Do you have a complaint? Please first contact our customer service at info@50dating.com . We aim to resolve your complaint within 14 days. If we are unable to reach a resolution, you may refer the matter to a recognised dispute resolution body or the competent court in Utrecht.

Final Provisions

• These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
• If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
