Blocking and reporting

Here's how to block, unblock or report a profile on 50dating.com.

How do I block someone?

You can easily block someone via their profile. This works the same way on computer and mobile.

  1. Go to the person's profile.
  2. Click the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top right.
  3. Choose Block user .
  4. Confirm your choice.

Once blocked, the other person can no longer see your profile, send you messages, or appear in your matches or suggestions. The existing conversation will also disappear from your overview.

How do I view or unblock blocked members?

You can see who you've blocked at any time and undo this if you wish.

  1. Go to Activity in the navigation bar.
  2. Click Blocked members .
  3. You'll see the name, photo, age and date of each block.
  4. Click Unblock next to the relevant person.

You can also unblock someone directly from their profile: click the three dots and choose Unblock user .

How do I report a suspicious or inappropriate profile?

If you come across a fake profile, abuse or a suspicious situation, you can report it.

  1. Open the profile you want to report.
  2. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right.
  3. Choose Report profile .
  4. Choose the reason that best applies.

A team member reviews your report, usually within a day. The reported person will not be told that you've reported them. If someone asks you for money, report this immediately, block the person, and never transfer money.

How do I know if someone has blocked me?

If someone blocks you, the conversation disappears from your overview and their profile is no longer visible to you. You won't receive a notification about this.

For privacy reasons, we never confirm whether a specific member has blocked someone. If you suspect this has happened, there's nothing further you can do or ask about.
